Hallo, ich hab das MSI B450-A Pro Max und wollte fragen ob das Board Ryzen 5000 CPUs unterstuetzt. Ich ueberlege auf einen Ryzen 5 5600X upzugraden aber bin mir nicht sicher ob ich vorher ein BIOS Update brauche oder ob das einfach so funktioniert.
Ja, das B450-A Pro Max unterstuetzt die Ryzen 5000 Serie, aber du brauchst zwingend ein BIOS Update bevor du die neue CPU einbaust. Das Problem ist dass du fuer das Update noch eine aeltere kompatible CPU benoeligst, da das Board sonst nicht bootet. MSI hat dafuer die sogenannte Flash BIOS Button Funktion, mit der du das BIOS auch ohne CPU flashen kannst ueber USB. Schau am besten ins Handbuch fuer die genaue Vorgehensweise, das ist dort gut erklaert.
