Hallo, ich habe den DCX3000-DVR neu installiert und wollte fragen welche Kabelkategorie ich verwenden muss. Kann ich normale CAT5 Kabel nehmen die ich noch auf Lager habe oder muss es unbedingt CAT6 sein? Die Entfernung zwischen Switch und Workstations ist ca. 30 Meter.
Das ist ein wichtiger Punkt, beim DCX3000-DVR sind laut Handbuch zwingend abgeschirmte CAT6, CAT6A oder CAT7 Kabel vorgeschrieben. CAT5 reicht leider nicht aus, das wird zu Bildproblemen und Verbindungsabbrüchen führen, besonders auf 30 Meter. Ich hatte dasselbe Problem am Anfang und erst nach dem Wechsel auf CAT6A lief alles stabil. Schau nochmal in den technischen Abschnitt des Manuals rein, da steht das ganz klar drin.
